"Get On Board"
Skate Park Sponsorship Program
For a limited time, you can
support Henderson County youth by sponsoring skate features in the park.
The
Hendersonville Kid’s Alliance to Skate, organized in the spring of 2006
by five local teens, sought the guidance & support of city leaders and
businesses to realize their goal of a street skating plaza for the youth
of the area. The grassroots project has grown, gaining the excitement
of city officials and skate enthusiasts throughout the Southeast.
Located in
Hendersonville’s Patton Park, the 12,000 square foot concrete facility
is a
public-private partnership between the City of Hendersonville, private
donors, and the Kids Alliance to Skate which represents hundreds of
skateboard enthusiasts.
The
Kids Alliance has provided design input and raised funds for the
project, and is now only
$68,000 from their goal of $350,000 needed to pay for the construction
of the park, which opened in April of 2009.
The
Hendersonville Skate Park Sponsorship package allows a business, group,
or individual to sponsor skate features at the park to demonstrate
support of Henderson county youth.
All sponsors
will be permanently on display to the community and all visitors.
Payments for tax-deductible donations may be designated as a one time
gift, or as a pledge over five years.
Indicate the
features you wish to sponsor on the order form and select your payment
plan. (Requests will be filled in the order they are received - while
opportunities are available.)
